Poetry in the Park

Details
We will read and respond to poetry in excruciating detail. It's fun, I promise! This time at the park - bring blankets, picnic accoutrements, and suchnot.
We'll take turns picking a poem for us to read and respond to. Please come with at least one poem that you are ready to share—whether your own or one from another author. If you have nothing to share, feel free to listen in.
We will read each poem aloud. If desired, the poem can be shared through Google Drive to be shown on a laptop screen or viewed on smartphones. Paper copies can also be distributed. Let's try things and see what works.
Seattle Poetry Meetup is a proud founding member of the Western Washington Poets Network.
VENUE
We'll be at Greenlake Park to take advantage of the weather... and also to work around a snafu scheduling our usual venue! (We'll be back at College Inn Pub on April 24th.)
TRANSIT
E Line runs immediately west of the park. The 20, 45, and 62 run east of the park.
SR-99 is immediately west, and Green Lake Park and Ride and I-5 are also close to the east.
PARKING
There is parking at the park, but often you need to park in a nearby neighborhood and walk.
COVID
Neither the venue nor the group require anything special; wear a mask if you desire, be as vaccinated as you like, and take the chances you feel comfortable with!
