Poetry in the Park: Alki Beach Bonfire

Details
We will read and respond to poetry in excruciating detail. It's fun, I promise! This will be our debut at Alki Beach.
We'll take turns picking a poem for us to read and respond to. Please come with at least one poem that you are ready to share—whether your own or one from another author. If you have nothing to share, feel free to listen in.
We will read each poem aloud. If desired, the poem can be shared through Google Drive to be shown on a laptop screen or viewed on smartphones. Paper copies can also be distributed. Let's try things and see what works.
Seattle Poetry Meetup is a proud founding member of the Western Washington Poets Network.
VENUE
We'll be at the Alki Beach fire pits. There will be sand and a roaring bonfire, plus ocean views.
WHAT TO BRING
I will reserve the firepit---usually I try to get one with logs to sit on. I'll also provide a few camp chairs, but please bring more if you're able. Bring food, drink, roastables, chairs, poetry, plus anything you feel like burning!
TRANSIT
H Line, C Line, and the 50 are your friends.
PARKING
There is parking either immediately against the park or within a close walk.
