Poetry in the Park: Golden Gardens Bonfire

Details
We will read and respond to poetry in excruciating detail. It's fun, I promise! This time at the park - bring blankets, picnic accoutrements, and suchnot.
We'll take turns picking a poem for us to read and respond to. Please come with at least one poem that you are ready to share—whether your own or one from another author. If you have nothing to share, feel free to listen in.
We will read each poem aloud. If desired, the poem can be shared through Google Drive to be shown on a laptop screen or viewed on smartphones. Paper copies can also be distributed. Let's try things and see what works.
Seattle Poetry Meetup is a proud founding member of the Western Washington Poets Network.
VENUE
We'll be at the fire pits of Golden Gardens park. There will be sand and a roaring bonfire, plus ocean views.
WHAT TO BRING
I will reserve the firepit---usually I try to get one with logs to sit on. I'll also provide a few camp chairs, but please bring more if you're able. Bring food, drink, roastables, chairs, poetry, plus anything you feel like burning!
TRANSIT
The 45 bus line runs along 85th and will get you close to the top of the Golden Gardens stairs. These will take you down to the park proper.
PARKING
There is parking at the park, but sometimes you have to walk a little ways. The further north you park, the closer you'll be to the firepits. Parking up the hill a little is generally always available if you don't mind the short hike down.
