Seattle Poetry Meetup @ Latona Pub

We will read and respond to poetry in excruciating detail. It's fun, I promise!

We'll take turns picking a poem for us to read and respond to. Please come with at least one poem that you are ready to share—whether your own or one from another author. If you have nothing to share, feel free to listen in.

We will read each poem aloud. If desired, the poem can be shared through Google Drive to be shown on a laptop screen or viewed on smartphones. Paper copies can also be distributed. Let's try things and see what works.

VENUE

We'll be in the upstairs loft of Latona Pub at 65th & Latona a few blocks from Green Lake Park.

TRANSIT

The 45 and 62 run near the pub, while the E line runs east of Green Lake Park along Aurora / SR-99.

To the east is I-5, with the 67 and Green Lake Park & Ride, and not much farther along 65th is Roosevelt Station which connects to the Link light rail 1 Line.

PARKING

Parking is often available in the neighborhood, and can sometimes be found a few blocks away at Green Lake Park.

COVID

Neither the venue nor the group require anything special; wear a mask if you desire, be as vaccinated as you like, and take the chances you feel comfortable with!
