PostgreSQL's internal architecture includes something called "autovacuum" which often impacts query performance in surprising ways. After many instances of helping developers with slow queries that were impacted by the AutoVacuum/AutoAnalyze system or lack there of, Lloyd compiled several of his presentations into a single autovacuum tuning and monitoring presentation.
There is visitor parking in the garage of the Eastlake Building at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center, and there is also street parking. The meters become free at 7pm so only one hour is needed.
