A critical aspect for the sustained success of Postgres has been the adaptability of the technology and the community support that continues to progress capability as new use cases emerge. As EDB has evolved in line with customer needs, the emergence of AI technologies and workloads presents interesting challenges for both builders and users.

Noah Baculi plays a leadership role in building capability that enables Postgres to be used as a ‘window into your AI relevant data’, and will provide insights into how he has leveraged PGRX and Rust, to develop a Postgres extension in the fast-moving AI space.

Pizza is provided, and we also have a user group lending library of books & papers related to PostgreSQL and Databases.

NEW LOCATION: same place as the summer BBQ - the Fred Hutch Steam Plant building. (Entrance on Eastlake Ave) Typically it's not hard to find street parking nearby.
