Qiskit Fall Fest 2025 Preparation - Qiskit and Quantum Computing 101

SQCM will be hosting a Qiskit Fall Fest from Oct. 1 - Nov. 3 !!

We were chosen by IBM Quantum as one of 150 hosts out of 600 applicants to implement a local event to develop and exercise our quantum computing skills via Qiskit.

During this preparation event, we will introduce folks to Qiskit via a Qiskit and Quantum Computing 101 session and share details about what to expect in the Coding Challenges and Hackathon prompts which will be released on Oct. 1.

We will meet again on Oct. 4, in Montlake, where we can actively work on the Challenges and/or Hackathon prompts to earn either a participation certificate or a more advanced certificate from IBM Quantum.

You can meet and work with teammates, or work solo. You can work on the challenges and hackathon prompts remotely. All work will be due by the end of FF25, which is Nov. 3.

Come join the fun!! You will be able to run jobs on a quantum simulator and on real quantum hardware!! IBM Quantum provides 10 free mins per month of real QPU time.
