[Copperhead County] The Best Brands Heist

Not much excitement comes to Edgewood, a residential neighborhood on the edges of Patterson, but residents are abuzz over a new commercial development that promises to bring civilization to their suburban streets.

The Sylvan Oaks Shopping Center is an outdoor mall with everything one could need: chain stores, chain restaurants, and a chain movie theater. Most of the businesses opened a few weeks ago, but there's one tenant still preparing its grand opening: Best Brands, a national big-box electronics retailer. The store has been busy staffing up, receiving shipments, and merchandising inventory for the big day.

Until then, all of those valuables are just sitting around, waiting to be snapped up. Does the crew have what it takes to break into the store and escape with high-dollar loot?

Copperhead County is s a game about organized crime, political corruption, horrors of history, and the decay in the modern American South. Your group plays as a crew of outlaws working together to establish a criminal empire by pulling dangerous jobs, running illegal businesses, and navigating the established power structure, clawing their way up from rock bottom to the top of the heap.

This game is a hack of Blades in the Dark set in the real world modern day that takes inspiration from crime fiction like Breaking Bad or Logan Lucky.

This game will be beginner-friendly, players only need to bring pencils and dice.

Pregenerated characters will be provided, however, if you want to play your own custom character, send a copy of your character sheet to me for review before Noon on the Friday of June 20

The event will be hosted in a rented private conference room, Players may bring their own food/beverage but are expected to be respectful of the space and clean up after themselves.

Feel free to sign-up even if it puts you on the Waitlist, in my expierence there's usually two or three people who drop-out before the start of the event, usually at the eleventh-hour, and I prefer to have a full table over empty slots.
