Torg Eternity - Flight of the Ikarus

Details

“An organization integral to the success of Delphi Council operations in the Nile Empire is in the midst of establishing a new safe-route for operatives, information, and supplies. They have suborned or recruited the crew and staff of Airship Ikarus, a zeppelin used to transport high-ranking Empire officials, troops, and supplies.
“The Council, however, is concerned that Empire operatives have discovered the shift in the Ikarus’ loyalties. We have secured passage for your team on the airship, your cover being that of mercenaries looking for employment with the Empire.
“It is vital that you survey the situation and determine whether the Ikarus is truly an ally of the Council or if they have been turned or betrayed by Nile
Operatives. No one on the airship will know your true loyalties except for a single crew-member, and we need to keep it that way."

TORG Eternity is a multi-genre RPG about an alternate earth similar to our own invaded by multiple dimensions that warp reality to their own parameters (e.g., magic, high/low tech). Earth was divided into multiple regions by the invaders. The players are "storm knights" who work for a global organization known as the Delphi Council whose mission is to fight back against the invasion. Storm Knights come from the invaded Core Earth as well as the different realities which have invaded. They have the unique ability to carry the laws of their own reality into different ones. E.g., cast magic in a reality where it isn't normally possible.

This one-shot adventure is set in The Nile Empire, a pulp-fiction 1930s era reality where mad scientists create astonishing gizmos and super-heroes work with gumshoe detectives to fight shock troopers, ancient Egyptian mummies, giant scorpions, mad gods, experimental steampunk machines, and other pulp tropes. Think of a hybrid between Indiana Jones, The Mummy, and Watchmen.

Knowledge of the rules or lore of the game is not needed. Pre-generated characters will be supplied. This game uses D20 and D6 dice only, but you are not required to bring anything.

The tone of this adventure is appropriate for all groups and should not require any content warnings.

We will be playing at Raygun Lounge. In the unlikely event of issues with location or table availability where a venue change is required, I will communicate in the comments section of this event on Meetup.
