Blood Cotillion is a grotesque one-shot taking place during a single night at a high-society ball in a cursed corner of 18th-century England. The players are formidable assassins, disguised as husband-hunting ingenues, who must root out the occult evil that lurks in the manor, destroy it and, ideally, survive.
This one-shot is part of the horrific alternate history of TEETH, set 5 years before the main campaign—which I'm hoping to run soon! It uses a simplified version of the full game's rules, which are based on Forged In The Dark. It should take between three and five hours to finish.
Pre-gens and materials will be provided, but you may want to bring your own pencil, paper, and six-sided dice.
This game contains mature content, player discretion is advised. All players, including guests, must be 18+
Content warnings: Blood, gore, body horror; themes of historical colonialism, racism, and sexism; potential for flirting or (gasp!) seduction between PCs and NPCs.
