[Fall of Delta Green] Operation JADE PHOENIX

The year is 1968.

Bloody, brutal conflict ripples through the jungles of southeast Asia.

The CIA wants the Chinese-backed Shan warlord Li Bao Lung assassinated, and the Agents are tasked to escort an Army sniper, Corporal Roger Watterson, to Li’s headquarters in the Wa state of northeast Burma, with orders to eliminate Li and return with proof of Li’s (and therefore Peking’s) involvement in the opium trade.

Delta Green has identified one of Li’s advisers, Ming Yuan, as a practitioner of an unknown occult mysticism; Li’s compound is a target-rich environment. The team must travel into Burma, avoiding detection en route, and penetrate the defences around Li’s compound to ensure Watterson has a clear shot on both targets.

This event is a One-Shot Scenario for Fall of Delta Green, a game adapted from the GUMSHOE system where you play as agents of a clandestine government agency dedicated to investigating and fighting Lovecraftian threats barely within human comprehension. (it is very tonally similar to Call of Cthulhu)

This game will be beginner-friendly, players only need to bring pencils and dice.

Pregenerated characters will be provided, however, if you want to play your own custom character, send a copy of your character sheet to me for review before Noon on the Friday of January 16

The event will be hosted in a rented private conference room, Players may bring their own food/beverage but are expected to be respectful of the space and clean up after themselves.

Feel free to sign-up even if it puts you on the Waitlist, in my expierence there's usually two or three people who drop-out before the start of the event, usually at the eleventh-hour, and I prefer to have a full table over empty slots.
