What This Event Is
This session is an intro-friendly Daggerheart one-shot, using the official QuickStart adventure:
The Sablewood Messengers.
The table is designed for new players, but players with prior Daggerheart experience are absolutely welcome—especially if you enjoy helping set tone, modeling play, or just want a relaxed one-shot.
• Characters are premade
• No prep required
• No equipment needed
• No prior Daggerheart experience required
⸻
What to Expect at the Table
• A lighthearted fantasy adventure built to teach the core mechanics through play
• Clear rules explanations as they come up
• A collaborative table where questions are encouraged
• Gentle encouragement to roleplay your character (speaking or acting in character when you’re comfortable), rather than only describing actions
Prior tabletop RPG experience—D&D or otherwise—is optional. New players won’t be behind, and experienced players won’t be constrained.
I’ll guide the session, keep things moving, and help translate mechanics into plain language.
⸻
Session Length & Timing
• Planned length: ~3 hours
• Please arrive on time so we can get started together
⸻
What to Bring
Nothing at all.
Just show up ready to play.
⸻
