[BitD/EE] Bourbon & Ballads Session One

Loisville, Kentucky has a history of spirits in multible senses, both with its folklore of witches, ghosts, and cryptids haunting the various derelict Victorian buildings and thick woods that dot the area, but also in the spirits of vice; the city's sprawling network of underground caverns turned it into a major hub for bootlegging operations during Prohibition, and the dark mouths of the caves have only grown stronger in their appetite for sin and racket since then.

The year is 2016, and the city's large dark underbelly has fed well on corruption and secrecy, you are one of the low-lifes and outlaws who work inside it, using your chosen trade to scrape by on the sidelines while feeling yourself get infected with the hunger for more.

You got a call from Petey "Pete the Heat" Vanglebottom, a crooked Parole Officer and Fixer, with an offer for a job - the taxidermied remains of "Pablo Escobear" (a niche tourist attraction born from a stange episode of Kentucky history) have been stolen, and he wants you to help him find it.

This is a sandbox campaign for my homebrew hybrid system Copperhead Enterprises, a fusion of Copperhead County and Esoteric Enterprises

Esoteric Enterprises is an Urban Fantasy/New Weird OSR Pointcrawler about playing a band of criminals, weirdos, and outcasts exploring the darkness and danger of the occult criminal underworld.

Copperhead County is a hack of Blades in the Dark that is themed around modern crime dramas like Breaking Bad and The Wire

This game will be beginner-friendly, players only need to bring pencils and dice.

‎Character creation will be done at the table.

The event will be hosted in a rented private conference room, Players may bring their own food/beverage but are expected to be respectful of the space and clean up after themselves.

Feel free to sign-up even if it puts you on the Waitlist, in my expierence there's usually two or three people who drop-out before the start of the event, usually at the eleventh-hour, and I prefer to have a full table over empty slots.
