Special Meetup: Viktor Klang

We are pleased to announce a special meetup with Viktor Klang of Akka fame who is director of engineering at Typesafe. This meeting is on a special day to accomodate Viktor's travel schedule. Our September 10 meetup will be cancelled and replaced by this special meetup on August 29.

Hailing from southern Sweden, Viktor Klang has been a passionate Scala hacker since 2007, a Java enterprise systems architect since 2003 and a programmer since 1998. He's a big fan of agile development, scalable software and elegant code. He joined the Akka team in the middle of 2009 as one of the earliest committers.

We will be meeting at the Rainier Square Conference Center located at the corner of 4th & Union. (Directly above Starbucks) Please use the west doors of the building for entry.

WhitePages will be providing food and drinks.

As always we are looking for people to give talks at future meetups.

Informal networking and eating starts at 6:30PM and the talk starts at 7:00PM.
