Paddle Fox Island to Cutts Island State Park-easy pace.

This event is for experienced kayakers with their own kayaks, there are no rentals available, no inflatable or sit on top.
This will be an easy paced paddle.
Meet at @ 11:00 AM to launch @ 12:00 PM. Fox Island boat ramp- 138 3rd Ave, Fox Island, WA 98333. This is a small parking area, please park with that in mind for other vehicles. We will paddle to Cutts Island on an incoming tide with a stop for lunch there, and catch the outgoing tide back. If the wind forecast changes, we will change locations. This is about a 8-10 mile easy paced paddle going with tides both ways.
For anyone that does not want to do the whole paddle, there is a beach at Kopachuch SP ( no facilities due to park being closed) where you can hang out and catch us on the way back.
Level 2 paddle- this is not a paddle for beginners.
For your safety and the safety of the group-
required equipment for this events is;
Sea Kayak- kayaks MUST have sealed bulkheads or flotation bags,
** Minimum 14' long.
Paddle-
PFD -No PFD, no paddling with us.
Whistle
Spare set of dry clothes/towel with you in your kayak.
Dry Bag for your dry clothes/snacks/gear.
Plenty of Water.
Wear quick drying clothes, spandex,nylon etc. * no cotton, no jeans- dress for the water temperature which is usually in the 50/60s
