Paddle Steilacoom to Ketron Island and Dupont Beach

Meet at Sunnyside Beach Park- I just found out the boat ramp in Steilacoom is closed, we will launch from Sunnyside beach Park instead- Chambers Creek Rd W, Steilacoom, WA 98388 @ 9:30 AM launch @ 10:00AM. You will need a cart to bring the kayaks to the beach, it is an easy paved path, I have a cart to loan if needed.
I will watch the weather and update if needed.
There is a fee to park there.
We will paddle with the incoming tide along the shoreline with stunning views of the Olympics, then paddle around Ketron Island looking for porpoises, head across to a nice beach for a snack, then paddle back along the shoreline by DuPont . This should be about an 6 mile paddle.
Sea Kayaks only.
** Minimum 14' long.

PFD -No PFD, no paddling with us.

Spare set of dry clothes/towel "with you in your kayak".
Dry Bag for your dry clothes/snacks/gear.
