Join us for a meaningful day of service in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. City Year Seattle will once again host its annual MLK Day of Service, bringing together community members to revitalize a local school through hands-on volunteer projects. Typical activities include painting, deep cleaning, and campus improvements that help create a warm, welcoming environment for students.

If you have MLK Day off and want to spend the day giving back, this is a wonderful opportunity to participate. All are welcome — bring friends, family, or coworkers who want to make a positive impact!

NOTE: Charities count on us attending the events we volunteer to work, so please keep your RSVP up-to-date. No Shows who don't change their RSVP within 48 hours of an event will be removed from the Meetup Group. I've had too many events recently where volunteers don't show up and the charity is left without enough hands to do the projects they need done and had planned to accomplish.
