Seattle St. Patrick’s Day 5K Dash
Details
Let’s get together for the Seattle St. Patrick’s Day 5K Dash. There’s no need to be a fast runner — or even run the entire race. I’ll be doing a walk-run myself. It’s a great chance to get outside, get some steps in, and celebrate. If you’d rather just come cheer, you’re absolutely welcome too.
There are three start waves:
• 9:00 AM – Runner wave
• 9:10 AM – Jogging wave (I’m signed up for this one)
• 9:20 AM – Walker wave
After the race, we’ll plan to partake in the post-race festivities at the Fisher Pavilion. There will be food, drinks, entertainment, and announcements of the race winners.

Meeting spot: In front of the Seattle Center fountain
Time: 8:30 AM — we’ll meet at the fountain around 8:30.
We don’t need to run together since everyone will move at different speeds, but feel free to pair up.
Post-race: We can meet outside the Fisher Pavilion after the race.
What to wear: Please wear something green and festive — your race shirt counts!
The event can get crowded, so I created a WhatsApp group so we can stay in contact:

Please plan ahead for parking, as things get busy, and it may take time to walk from your car to the start line. I live near 3rd Ave W & W Harrison St, and there’s usually plenty of parking around here if anyone wants to park nearby and walk over to the race together.
