6:40pm - 8:40pm, Exploratory Test Automation by Harry Robinson, Microsoft
Modern software systems are too big for purely manual testing, but they change too rapidly for traditional test automation to keep up. Computer-aided exploratory testing amplifies your testing ability by combining human creativity with machine horsepower to produce testing that is thorough, robust, and flexible. This presentation covers the basics of computer-aided exploratory testing and examples of how we use it to deliver Bing.
[To get a jump on the presentation topic, read Harry's article, Intelligent Test Automation (http://www.harryrobinson.net/intelligent.pdf), for some of the ideas behind computer-aided exploratory testing.]
