Join The Seattle Stair Walkers for Base To Space Climb and help supporter Cancer Research.
The event will be held at that icon of Seattle: The Space Needle, the center point of the 1962 World's Fair, and where Elvis Presley filmed the 1963 musical comedy "It Happened At The World's Fair."

There is a fee to register for this event AND a minimum of $200 in donations to walk the Needle.

Per the Website:
"If registered on or before by 11:59 pm on May 31, 2025, $76 per Participant aged 18 years or older."
"Minimum Charitable Contributions. As the purpose of the Event is to raise funds for one or more charities, each Entry requires a minimum charitable contribution of $200 (the “Minimum Charitable Contribution”), which must be received at the time of Participant packet pick up on the Event Date. This is in addition to the registration fee."
I plan on just "writing a check for both."

The Organizers take note of no-showing, habitual 'Placeholding' or frequent late cancels, which can lead to your membership in this group being revoked.
CRASHING (showing up without RSVPing - event if you see other people have canceled) is taken seriously. If you want to bring a guest, please let me know before the event.
