🖊 Description:
We will leave Dunn Gardens (another Olmsted Brothers designed park) headed toward Carkeek Park. (Dunn Gardens opens at 9am)
We will then take the 12th Ave Hill Climb Trail past some beautiful ponds on the way to a Chum Salmon Viewing Area. Then to the Salmon Slide - Carkeek Playground where we will DEFINITELY try out the slides. We will then take the N Traverse Trail to civilization, where we will retrace our route to Dunn Gardens.
If you want to stay til noon, you will be pleasantly surprised with over 50 vibrant botanical-inspired quilts created by the Pacific Northwest African American Quilters.
Enjoy groovy jazz as you peruse these lovely textile works-of-art.
