About Leeni:
Leeni is a dream-synth pop producer and singer based in Seattle, WA. Also a chiptune artist who creates music on Gameboys, Leeni was one of the only female artists creating within that genre of electronic music in the early 2000s. What was even more rare was that she added heartfelt vocals to her 8-bit creations, turning them into Nintendo-backed pop songs. Leeni has been performing electronic music since 2006, showcasing at festivals and conventions, and has completed 4 full-length albums: "8-bit Heart" (2007), "Labyrinth"(2008), "The Only Now"(2011) and ‘Violet’ (2022) as well as 2 EPs "Headphones On Your Heart"(2012) a "Lovefool"(2018). Her style and instrumentation has expanded and grown to include synths, drum machines, and effects boxes, but she still brings Gameboys to her shows to add a dose of nostalgia to her sets. You can also find more music from Leeni under her band name "Prom Queen".
