Seattle Thankful & Thirsty Threaders IRL November — Stoup Capitol Hill
Details
Seattle Threaders, let's get together IRL in November to show gratitude and enjoy each other's company as the days get shorter. Stoup Capitol Hill is a fun environment with great beer, cider, nonalcoholic drinks and food ordering options (see event photos).
Let's also do an optional food drive for those who would like to participate. We'll be donating to Marysville Food Bank since Mary's hosting the event and lives there (too hard to coordinate donations in the city, most only open during the week). Here are the food items they are in need of:
- Staples & Grains (Rice, Pasta, Oats, Cereal)
- Pre-Packaged Side Dishes
- Snacks (Granola Bars, Nuts, Fruit Cups)
- Soups & Ready-to-Eat Meals (Canned Chili, Soup, Mac & Cheese)
- Proteins (Canned Tuna, Chicken, Beans, Peanut Butter)
- Vegetables & Fruits (Canned, Dried)
- Dairy & Alternatives (Shelf Stable)
- Staples & Meal Bases (Canned Tomatoes, Tomato Sauce or Paste, Cooking Oil)
- Culturally Inclusive Options (Spices, Masa Harina, Coconut Milk)
Please share this event on, you guessed it, Threads and see you there!
Parking/Transit: Street parking is free on Sundays around the brewery, please read and obey all signs. Several pay lots noted here, click on "Parking". Stoup Capitol hill is 4 blocks from the Capitol Hill Station of the Link Light Rail and 1 block from the Broadway and Pike Station of the First Hill Streetcar Line.
NOTE: Mary will be there 12:30 ish and will have a donation box with our Meetup logo on it, and we'll have nametags. I will post our general location on this page.
