Shoreline/Boeing Creek Park

On Saturday, RapidRide E begins service and what better way to celebrate than by using it to do a nice loop hike in Shoreline! On this hike, we will explore Boeing Creek Park, along with two transit ways to get there.
We will begin by riding bus #512 from Seattle to the 145th St. freeway station. From there, we will walk about 2 1/2 miles to the park through Shoreline neighborhoods, passing through Twin Ponds Park along the way. One we arrive at Boeing Creek Park, we will do a 1-2 mile loop through the park, then head a few blocks east to take RapidRide E back south to Seattle.
We will meet on board the #512 trip leaving downtown Seattle at the following schedule (http://www.soundtransit.org/Schedules/ST-Express-Bus/512?tab=Saturdays):
4th and Jackson - 9:38 AM
4th and Pike - 9:44 AM
I-5 and 45th St. - 9:54 AM
I-5 and 145th St. - 10:00 AM
I will be joining the group and getting on the bus at I-5 and 45th St.
This hike should be about 5-6 miles and take around 2 hours (plus time on the bus). Return buses run approximately every 15 minutes.
