Mt. Si loop via Mt. Teneriffe Trail

Today, we will use Trailhead Direct to head up Mt. Si the back way, starting from the Mt. Teneriffe Trail. This trail is similar elevation and only slightly longer distance, compared to the regular Si trail, but much less crowded, and goes to the same summit.

We will begin by riding the Trailhead Direct bus to the Mt. Teneriffe trailhead. The posted start time of 10:10 corresponds with the scheduled arrival of the bus. The hike will actually begin when bus arrives and everyone has had a chance to use the restroom. Everyone is encouraged to ride the bus because, on the way back, we will be coming out at a different trailhead along the same bus route, so riding the bus means not needing to worry about getting back to your car (we will be taking the regular Mt. Si trail down).

Return buses depart every 30 minute, and stop at the same places.

Please bring food - we will be eating lunch as a group at the viewpoint, just below the haystack. As this is a trail hike, not a scramble, we will not be climbing up the haystack.
