This is the third hike in a multi-part series which forms a circle around the northern part of lake Washington between highway 520 and Kenmore, over the course of several months.

Our previous hike took us from Magnuson Park to the northern end of Lake Washington in Kenmore. Today, we continue the loop, heading south on the other side of the lake into St. Edwards State Park. We will begin the hike at Log Boom Park in Kenmore, where the part 2 hike ended. From there, we will walk the Burke Gilman Trail east to 68th St., then walk around the golf course to take the back entrance into St. Edwards State Park. After lunch at a picnic table down by the water (please bring food), we will head out through Big Finn Hill Park and catch the #225 bus for return transportation back to Kenmore.

Total distance should be about 8 miles.
