This is the fifth hike in a multi-part series which forms a circle around the northern part of lake Washington between highway 520 and Kenmore, over the course of several months.

Part 4 for took us through Finn Hill into north Kirkland, finishing up at Juanita Beach Park. Part 5 begins at Juanita Beach Park and continues the push south. We will walk through a mixture of trails, streets, and a few hidden pathways to visit several parks along the Kirkland waterfront, then head up the hill to the Cross Kirkland Corridor trail, which we will follow to South Kirkland Park and Ride, which will be the end of the hike. We will have lunch at a park along the way - please bring food.

Transportation-wise, both the start and end points of today's hike can be reached by bus route 255, which connects to Seattle's University District.
