Visualizing Game Designs, Part 2
Details
This is a follow-up to the previous talk, which covered the basics of Machinations (we'll cover the gist again if you missed it). In this session, Matthew will go even deeper into how anyone can use the tool to design and balance even the most complex game systems. We'll also cover how Machinations can be integrated with Unity projects directly if we have time.
If you're interested in catching up with the previous session, links to that at the bottom of this description.
---- About Matthew & Machinations:
Matthew, the Evangelist from Machinations, will join us to talk about how to use Machinations to visualize and test your game designs. Matthew will discuss how different game designers use Machinations in their workflows in this second session and show several examples of some more advanced models.
Machinations have over 25,000 registered users ranging from small indie developers to large AAA studios like Paradox and Zynga. It is also used in over 350 universities to teach game design and help students understand core game loops and the impact of different game mechanics.
