I’d like to pass on information of an event, a Valentine writing event that I am organizing! with manual typewriters, fine stationery, and books of love poetry for inspiration. (So far, I've got Langston Hughes, Pablo Neruda, Theodore Roethke, H.D., Nikki Giovanni, e.e. cummings, Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s Sonnets from the Portuguese, a collection of Love Songs and Love and the Turning Year trans. from Chinese. With more volumes on the way from local booksellers.)
VALENTINE WRITING EVENT
Write your own, or dictate a poem or message to your beloved, and have it printed with style! Vintage typewriters will be available, with complimentary deluxe stationery, and books of love poetry for inspiration! One day only, Saturday January 25, from 2--6pm!
