Valkey summer hike

Let’s do something different and trade sitting around for a hike in the beautiful Pacific Northwest!

Meet us at 4:00 PM at Cougar Mountain
Red Town Trailhead: off Lakemont Blvd SE (map)

This is the most popular gateway to the park, providing the shortest and easiest route to Coal Creek Falls. It also features historical coal mining interpretive signs and remnants.

Please arrive on time, as we won’t be able to wait long. Parking is free and you don't need a pass
Please wear good hiking boots and bring plenty of water.

After the hike we can go to a restaurant nearby for food and drinks.
