Ride the brand new light rail on opening day — across a floating bridge!

Join us for a fun, casual, car-free meetup to celebrate the opening of the Link Light Rail 2 Line — a project nearly 18 years in the making and the first light rail in the world to run on a floating bridge.

We’ll start at Sam Smith Park, where opening day celebrations will be in full swing:

🎟️ free ORCA passes (round-trip) and Lime bike/scooter ride credits available while supplies last

• 9:00 AM — Meet at Sam Smith Park
• 10:00 AM — Ride the first train across Lake Washington
• ~10:25 AM — Arrive at Downtown Bellevue Station
• 10:30–10:50 AM — Walk (~15–20 min) to Meydenbauer Bay Park
• 10:50–11:20 AM — Relax by the water, chat, and hang out
