December Virtual Social: Walkabout Mini-Golf VR

As we know it’s hard to commit to social events in person this time of year. Therefore, our December social will be virtual. Literally! We’ll see you all in Walkabout Mini-Golf VR! (There's even a mobile version now through which you can join other virtual players!)

If you're still feeling social enough to pop out for the evening, the Seattle Interactive Media-Lab (SiM) will be hosting folks to use their space/headsets to join as well!

You’ll find helpful links at the bottom to acquire the game and tips to get started.

• Tip! Installing the game on your headset takes a hot minute, so be sure to do it early!
• Tip 2! Be sure your headset is nice and charged…or even plugged in!

It’s very simple to join our event room. Once you have installed and entered the game lobby, look to the menu on the left and select, “Private Game.”

Type in the name of our room: Seattle VRAR

*Note that there is a maximum number of players permitted per room, set at 8 participants.
If you’re not able to join room Seattle VARAR due to it being at capacity, head on over to our auxiliary room: Seattle VRAR 2.

If you join late, no worries! You can join a game already in progress. 😊
