Urbanist Bike Tour: Neighborhood Center Edition

🚲 Grab your bike and join us on a bicycle tour of planned Neighborhood Centers (NCs) in North Seattle! 🚲

We will be touring Neighborhood Centers (NCs) that are part of the Seattle Comprehensive Housing Plan.

You might have heard that the Comprehensive Housing Plan released by the Mayor removed dozens of planned Neighborhood Centers (NCs). We're going to ride our way through both planned and deleted NCs

These Neighborhood Centers (NCs) are key to bringing walkable neighborhoods to where thousands of Seattleites already live. We have a chance to influence the number of NCs that will get built but we are going to have to fight for them and make the case to city council and the mayors office why this kind of neighborhood sized density is important .

Neighborhood Centers we will tour:

• 90th and Roosevelt in Maple Leaf (Meet here at Ace Hardware at 10am)
• This center is included in the plan
• Lake City Way and 15th
• This was a planned center that the mayor has removed
• 65th and 25th (Ravenna)
• This center is included in the plan
• 65th and 35th (Bryant)
• This was a planned center that the mayor has removed
• 35th and 75th (Wedgewood, South)
• This was a planned center that the mayor has removed
• 35th and 85th (Wedgewood)
• This center is included in the plan
• 35th and 95th (Wedgewood, North)
• This was a planned center that the mayor has removed
• This will be our final stop, with lunch at Fiddler's Inn
