The Five Elements Weds Night Ecstatic Dance with DJ Zondo aka Jon Elizondo

Spirit, Air, Fire, Earth, Water. We are all alive because of these elements. We are these elements, and they are us.

Doors open 7pm, MUSIC set 7:30pm-8:45pm. Closing circle 8:45-9:00pm

This dance is a freestyle dance in the ecstatic dance format with no talking during the dance, no requirements for movement, no instructions or choreography, and time for moving Your Way.

No one needs to know how to dance, only an interest in expressing yourself in movement.

Music will begin slow, rise to a peak in the middle, and climb back down to a quiet end. This is a dance journey lasting 80 mins and includes aspects of all the elements, whether with sound or lyrics.

Dancers may be barefoot or wear shoes. most dancers wear comfortable yoga style clothing good for moving easily.

There may be a surprise at the peak of the set list; live drums for one song!

Sliding scale $15-$25 per person. Pay at the door: Cash, Venmo or PayPal (no credit cards).

This event is a part of Bliss Dance, offering a different regular DJ every Wednesday at the Russian Community Culture Center 704 - 19th Avenue E, Seattle, WA with unique styles. Every Bliss Dance is a freestyle dance.
