Seattle Sport Tech Hackathon

Join the Seattle Sports Tech Meetup for our first annual Hackathon, hosted by the Seattle Sounders and Galvanize with data provided by Sportradar!

We’re seeking teams and individuals (https://seasportstech.firebaseapp.com/) who have a desire to contribute to the integration of technology with sports.

The Hackathon will take place Sept 10th-11th, from 9AM Saturday to 9PM Sunday.

How exactly does that work?

Well, we’ll leave the great ideas up to you. For one weekend in September, we’ll bring together geeks, jocks, and entrepreneurs into the same room to pitch ideas and build them out.

Our panel of judges will hear presentations from each team and award prizes for the best projects.

At the same time, we’ll be tuned into all the local sporting events: including the Seattle Seahawks home opener and the Sounders FC match vs. San Jose.

Sportradar will be providing open access to their API for participating teams, and the Sounders will be hosting live events at the Ninety.
