Featured Presenter - Tom Horton // AWS IoT Core
AWS IoT Core is a managed service that allows developers to securely connect physical devices to The Cloud.
In this presentation, we'll discuss AWS IoT Core- what it is, some simple use cases, and how to get started.

Tom is a Cloud Architect focused on using Amazon Web Services. He comes from a background in large-scale web development, and enjoys tinkering in the IoT space with his "Connected Sailboat".

Featured Presenter - Corbin Souffrant // IoT Security
This talk discusses what attackers use to reverse engineer IOT devices from a black box approach. Hardware security concepts such as debugging protocols (JTAG/UART) will be reviewed as well as more active attacks like glitching and chip decapping. This is not intended to be a comprehensive guide to performing the attacks, as any of these topics could be a talk by itself, but attendees should be able to take away ideas to research for analyzing or protecting their own devices.

Corbin Souffrant is a Security Consultant with Leviathan Security Group where his expertise spans several security domains. He has engaged in projects involving everything from firmware and device security, to application assessments, and even fuzzer development. Prior to this, he participated as a competitor in DARPA Cyber Grand Challenge (CGC), researched program analysis tooling, and reverse-engineered exploits from active malware samples.

We'll look forward to seeing you there!
