The Seattle OpenSource Linux Meetup is a fairly informal group of friendly Linux enthusiasts that gather to discuss a broad range of topics surrounding Linux and the open source universe. This is a great place to come and talk about your fav open source project, possibly get an answer to that question regarding some bash command that is giving you trouble or to come get some guidance as to where to start your own open source journey. Sometimes members will give talks about tools or projects they are excited about, it's definitely not unusual for members to cluster around a laptop to help solve another members software issues and the conversation is always lively.

This meetup is intended to be a safe and fun place for anyone interested in open source technologies to come and discuss that those interests, hateful and discriminatory speech and/or behavior, including speech or behavior that disparages other's software and technology choices, cannot be tolerated.

Seattle OpenSource Linux Monthly Meetup is open to all regardless of nationality, sexual and affectional orientation, gender identity and its expression, racial and cultural identity and background, religious background and belief, marital status, family structure, age, mental and physical health and ability or educational and class status.
