Kendall Knob is a popular spot for backcountry skiing/spliboarding because it offers multiple options for beginners and more advanced tourers. This trip is beginner-friendly. I'm a splitboarding and this will be my second time touring, so we will take our time doing the transitions. The plans is to do a few laps up and down until we get tired.

Distance: 3-6km (2-4 miles).
Elevation gain: 560-670 m (1680-2000 feet)
Estimated time: 4-6 hours.
Overall difficulty: easy.
Ski/Board skills: intermediate.

Everyone will go to the waitlist by default, and I will add riders as drivers become available. It is your responsibility to check your waitlist status, and to remove yourself from the waitlist if you can no longer attend. The total cap is 12 people. Please answer all RSVP questions so I can get accurate headcounts for each location.

Avalanche Conditions.
AIARE and avalanche safety gear are optional for this trip as we will stay on low-angle terrain. In addition, I'll check the avalanche forecast the day before. If there's a sudden change in the avalanche conditions the day before, the trip might be cancelled or switched to a different location.
