Lyman Hill conditioning showshoe (moderate pace)
Details
I'm starting off my first snowshoe of thr year with a trip that is fairly manageable. The summit has a radio tower, but also a great view of the surrounding area. This is due to it being one of the most prominent mountains in the state. It starts off with a road walk and involves some off-trail travel to get to the summit. We can choose to stay on the road or venture off it to create our own adventure route. I'm looking for a team of 5 to 6 people who can help break trail and provide good company. Although snowshoe experience is helpful, I will consider adding beginners for this one. Participants should be ok going at a moderate (not fast) pace of 2 to 3 miles per hour.
Stats:
Distance: 10+ miles, roundtrip
Elevation Gain: 4,000 feet
Highest Point: 4,300 feet
