Details

This event is mainly for kids and families to hike together. This is not a fast conditioning hike. We will move at a kid friendly pace, take breaks, and let kids enjoy the forest and the waterfall. Adults are also welcome.

Important Notes:
(1) If fewer than 2 kids sign up for this event, the event will be cancelled, since the goal is for kids to hike together and have companions on the trail.

(2)When you RSVP, please add the number of kids as your guest count so I can keep track of how many kids will be attending.

## Trail Information

  • Teneriffe Falls Trail (Lower Falls)
  • ~5.5 miles round trip
  • ~1,600 ft elevation gain
  • Forest trail with steady uphill
  • Waterfall at the end
  • Expect about 3–4 hours total at a kid friendly pace

## What to Bring

  • Water
  • Snacks / lunch
  • Rain jacket
  • Hiking shoes
  • Extra clothes for kids
  • Small first aid
  • Discover Pass (if you have one)
