Let's Bike Lake Chelan- Moderate to Advanced
Details
With some of the best roads for cycling in Washington, Chelan has become a favorite spot. With many scenic, smooth routes and friendly roads passing through orchards and vineyards mostly along the lake shore.
It is a major destination for cyclists, and highly recommended by many Cascade Bike Club members.
Lake Chelan is one of the World's most spectacular glacial carved lakes with some of Washington State's most impressive scenery and bike friendly community.
The Plan:
- Saturday- Drive to Chelan and arrange your own car camping or lodging. I will be car camping at one of the local campgrounds in the Chelan/Manson area.
- Optional- Wine tasting Saturday afternoon or enjoy an evening hike to Chelan Butte, followed by dinner if time allows.
- Sunday- Saddle up and start the ride at 7am at The Vogue Coffee Bar, which is near the start of the route:

- Return the same way (minus the inverted triangle portion) staying on the road along the lake.
- We can have late lunch or early dinner before heading back to the Seattle area
- Optional- stay another night and return Monday.
Please note- we intend to stop at all major intersections and turns. We will wait for the entire team at those intersections and major stopping points.
If you will conform to this plan, you should consider doing your own ride and not join this event.
