This ride looks real good! It?s great to have locals planning the route:
"We'll shake up the route a little, but do a lot of the same roads. They're good enough to keep repeating! :-)
I suggest we should start further South down Hwy-30 this year, though. Maybe somewhere in St Helens. I don't know where yet, but I have friends who know the area, so I'll ask them and get back to the group. If we start in St Helens, then this is the route I suggest we take to Pacific City...
It's about 165 miles, taking in a lot of the best roads we have in the area! You won't be disappointed. :-)
Day-2 could look something like this...
This is about a 180 mile route from Pacific City back to the I-5 Interstate Bridge over the Columbia River. It covers spectacular roads pretty much all the way to Salem, where you pick up the I-5 to slab it back to Seattle. There are, of course, back roads that can be taken all the way back to Portland. :-)"
They had fun last year. Here's the ride report:

This is the final schedule. Only thing to add is the restaurant in St Helens. As soon as I get it I'll post it. If you'd like to do just a day run, feel free to join just for that.
