Thrill Lake City Seafair Grand Parade!

We will be returning to the Lake City Summer Festival and Parade Saturday, August 2, 2025. This festival has been an official Seafair event for 71 years. Please rsvp yes only if you will be dancing with us.

This performance is for those who are already familiar with the dance routine as there will not be special training sessions to break down the moves for this event. Due to only having a maximum of 60 seconds to perform, our choreography and music have been edited. When you rsvp yes, I will send you a private message with links to the 1 minute version with the easy changes.

When and Where To Meet On Day Of:
Althought the parade begins at 7:00, we will be meeting to go over the game plan and routine at 3:30 in the Fred Meyer parking lot, 13000 Lake City Way NE, in the lower lot. The easiest lot to find each other is at the intersection of NE 130th St and 35th Ave NE. Please allow extra time for heavy traffic and major blocked streets in Lake City.

Check-In:
Our designated time to check in with the Seafair Marshalls to receive our parade number and find our lineup spot is at 5:00. From the Fred Meyer parking lot, we will all walk to the check-in table together. This will take place at the intersection of Lake City Way NE and NE 135th St, across the street from the Toyota dealership, 13355 Lake City Way NE. The lineup will begin at 135th and they will have us get in line according to our number.

Parade Route:
We will begin heading south on Lake City Way from 135th to 125th, then we will turn right on 125th, going west. It will end at 25th Ave NE, at which time we will be able to finish watching the rest of the parade. Awards will be given after the parade is over.

Judges:
We will be stopping at intervals along the parade route to do a few quick moves, but the judges’ reviewing stand where we will perform will be in front of the library at 125th & 28th Ave NE. The length of time for all dance routines must be capped at 1 minute. Our music and choreography have been adjusted to fit their guidelines. The judges will be timing each entry. If it goes over, the scores will be affected.

Meeting Before Date of Parade:
We will meet a couple of weeks in advance in the Fred Meyer parking lot in Lake City (13000 Lake City Way NE), in the lower lot. to go through the routine a couple of times and to show you the parade route if needed. The easiest lot to find each other is at the intersection of NE 130th St and 35th Ave NE.

Dress Code: FZA (Full Zombie Attire). Not just only Thriller t-shirts this time).
