What we’re about
Seattle Trans Life (STL) is a private, social meetup group in western Washington/Puget Sound-area that focuses on connecting friends, old and new, and facilitating great conversation, for adults who identify as transgender or gender non-conforming.
We typically meet every 2 weeks at public restaurants in the Seattle metropolitan area for dinner and conversation. There are no dressing requirements (other than being publicly presentable!) to participate -- come as you are and feel comfortable with yourself.
STL is *not* a dating connection group or a place for non-transgender people to meet transgender people for hookups. We are a safe space for our community to gather, learn from one another, share information, and meet friends who have had similar life experiences.
STL was founded back in 2013 and used to use Facebook for meeting announcements, but in 2018 we've migrated the announcements to Meetup. If you have been a regular attendee of STL in the past, please feel free to send a message to the group admin and we'll send you an invitation to join. If you are new to STL, take a look at the new member profile questions and the group description above to see if STL would be a good fit for you. We look forward to meeting you.
