Centennial Trail ride to barn
Details
We will meet at 8:00 AM and be wheels down by 8:30AM.
Meeting location is the Snohomish Boy's & Girl's Club.
Route:
Ride to the barn and back (60 miles). Most people stop for at least a few minutes at the barn (halfway point) so if you're about the same speed, there's an opportunity to regroup. I expect to average 15-16 mph; you are welcome to go faster of course (lol).
Note: this ride is along a multi-use path. Please slow down as needed for walkers, runners, dogs, people with strollers, etc. This is especially important at the south end, which is more crowded. We will group at the hills and lights so no one is left behind.
Pace and regrouping: We will set ride groups at the start with at least one ride leader staying with the end of the ride.
Equipment and Safety: Helmets are required to ride. A good headlight and taillight are recommended. Bring your own nutrition you expect to need during the ride. Riders should be able to sustain a consistent pace, know how to understand hand signals, change a flat tire (and have all the equipment to do so) and have a positive attitude. Ride Leaders and Sweeps will not stop long for flats or mechanical issues due to group safety.
In order to participate in any Seattle Triathlon Group event, you must sign our waiver. Waivers only need to be signed once per year or if your contact info has changed.
