Sept. WP Developers - Advanced Hooks, Writing Extensible Plugins

Inspired by "The Capitalist in the Co-op" presented by Shane Pearlman of Modern Tribe at WordCamp Seattle 2012, this month's meetup features WordPress developer Allen Snook as he walks you through how to use actions and filters to extend your free WordPress plugin with your premium WordPress plugin, and keep your sanity in the process. Allen will walk through examples of things like merging settings and frontend behaviors and architectural considerations to help keep it all together. Even if you don't plan on ever selling a premium add-on to one of your plugins, this talk will help you better understand using actions and filters in WordPress and how you can apply them in your code.
