This year, we are excited to be celebrating Seattle Center FESTÁL's 20th Anniversary! Join us for our special celebration!

BrasilFest was created in 1999 by Brazilian immigrants Eduardo Mendonça and Ana Paula Mendonça. BrasilFest is the first annual celebration of Brazilian culture in WA
BrasilFestat is a part of the Seattle Center’s FESTÁL cultural event series FREE FAMILY EVENT. Save the date and get ready for a lot of fun! Kids Activities/ Face Painting, Dance, Lots of Music, Brazilian Food, Music Workshops, Capoeira workshops, Dance workshops and more.

BrasilFest (Brazil spelled with an "S" in Portuguese). The lively world of Brazilian arts and culture fill Seattle Center with a sultry display of South American soul, Brazilian style. This one-day extravaganza will offer continuous music, dance, workshops and performance that represent a broad repertoire of traditional and contemporary Brazilian expressions as well as traditional folkloric performers. Experience all that this exuberant and vivid culture has to offer, from Capoeira demonstrations and workshops for all ages (Brazilian martial arts), Samba workshops, children's activities (mask-making, painting), Brazilian instruments, arts and crafts, photo exhibits and films. "Not only is this festival important to the Brazilian community but also for the general public that loves Brazi.

The event is organized by the nonprofit organization with the support of Seattle Center FESTÁL.
