Exploring White Identity: A Weekly Affinity Group Building Anti-Racist Allyship

Join us for a two-hour weekly affinity group aimed at deepening our understanding of white privilege, dismantling racism, and cultivating effective allyship in the fight for racial justice.

Facilitated by Asha Sparenberg, this space provides an opportunity for white individuals to engage in self-reflection and dialogue on the following topics:

- Examining the structures of racism and white supremacy in society
- Exploring how racism and white supremacy manifest within ourselves and our communities
- Recognizing our complicity in perpetuating racism and understanding our roles
- Confronting strategies of denial, defensiveness, and avoidance in addressing racism
- Decentering whiteness and understanding its implications
- Building meaningful alliances with people of color and minimizing harm
- Enhancing our effectiveness as allies and accomplices in the movement for racial justice
- Collaborating with other white individuals in service of anti-racism efforts
