Trail Walk at Quiet Waters Park & Visit the Smokehouse

Our group will meet at the large gazebo behind the Quiet Waters Park entrance sign. From there we can walk into the park for FREE. Ample parking is available just across Hillsmere Drive in the Bay Ridge Shopping Plaza.

WALKING AROUND QUIET WATERS PARK

This walk is approximately four miles on paved trails through the woods that go around the edge of the park. Along the way, we'll pass the seasonal ice skating pond, the concert area, a dog park, and scenic views facing the South River.

The pace will be easygoing to enjoy the park's natural surroundings while getting a bit of exercise. If you're late, look for us going counter-clockwise (right) around the park. The entire route is basically a big loop with side trails that bring us back to the park entrance. Total time to circle the park should be about 2-3 hours.

AFTERWARD AT ANNAPOLIS SMOKEHOUSE

Following the walk, we can visit the Annapolis Smokehouse for food and refreshments. It's a popular casual restaurant located in the Bay Ridge Shopping Plaza where we parked our cars.

Our SHR group prefers gathering in the bar area where we can freely mingle and get separate checks with no hassles about group ordering. We also receive much better service by ordering and paying directly at the bar.

FINAL DETAILS

We'll need good walking weather for this event. A little rain won't stop us, but we won't go in miserable conditions. I'll post an update and send out an email by 10:00 am if we need to change plans or cancel.
