Blackwall Hitch Happy Hour and Pasta Night

I’m stepping in as an interim organizer for this truly special group—one that very much deserves to keep going.

If you scroll through the photos and past events, they tell the story better than I ever could: this has been a thoughtfully curated, well-organized group that has fostered a genuinely warm and welcoming community here in Annapolis. Groups like this don’t just happen, and I want to acknowledge and celebrate the care and intention that went into building it. Annapolis needs more of this.

As the group is at risk of going quiet, I’m happy to step up for now to keep things active, continue the tradition, and make sure there’s still a place for people to connect—at least until a longer-term organizer naturally emerges.

Given the frigid winter temperatures, we’ll keep events indoors for the time being. To kick things off, I’m sharing one of my favorite Annapolis traditions: Wednesday evenings at Blackwall Hitch. They offer half-price pasta on Wednesdays, and if you arrive before six, the cocktails are fantastic as well. It’s an easy, relaxed way to unwind mid-week and enjoy good food and conversation.

This will be listed as a weekly event, and even on weeks when I’m out of town, it will remain on the calendar so there’s always a standing Wednesday night option for friends to gather.
